anyone else think they (BFEE) will try to sneek Jeb in through the VP office?

They've been courting Romney for a while (Bain Capital-another Carlyle)and making sure he gets some national attention. Either have Romney be a puppet prez. (they're good at that). Or if he gets out of line they'll just pull a Reagan on him.
I can't see these criminals go without a fight....and you know HOW they fight.
5. Oh, yes- If they think the end is inevitable...
Can't you just see beady eyed Newt, Scalia, Delay and the neoconic rat pack scouring the bowels of the Constitutional Think Tanks for a precedent somewhere to legitimize brother Jethro's appointment.
2. Been saying for years they'd put George Allen in
And then the dumb fuck lost. I don't think it will be Jebby. They need someone who is stupid and malleable and able to take orders and is a total asshole. George Allen. Not sure who else fits the description. BUt they have not built up their little business to have it all stop in 2009.
Dump Dick when things heat up re: investigations. He can "retire" because of "health problems" and THEN... Bring in Jeb or Mit or McCain. Bush can then flee to his South American retreat.
This seems plausible but only if Senate investigations seem headed toward impeachable/criminal certainty.
He thought he could get away with nominating his own personal lawyer to the Supreme Court. He might just be out of touch enough to pick his brother as VP if he had the chance.
I don't think it'll happen in 2008, though. Frankly, I think the Repukes might be content to let the Dems run the country for a few years, let them clean up George's mess in Iraq and then blame them for whatever chaos ensues.
