A Tale of Two Brothers....

...and their threat to our nation...

Brother 1. Goes to college and takes a semester off because the school finds him lacking in scholastic resolve.During his "retreat" he is drafted,attends basic training, and is assign to combat with the 101 Airborne in the Ah Shau valley in Vietnam.

Brother 2. (me) Quits high school and labors at a series of manual labor jobs.Eventually joins the army, but when advised to the horrors of actual combat by Veterans, disobeys a direct order and leaves the service with bad paper.


Brother 1. Returns from the service with combat medals.He marries his childhood sweetheart,raises two children,serves twenty-six years as a fire fighter and retires to enjoy "the good life".

Brother 2. Travels thru a series of jobs, addictions and marriages.Retires after an industrial accident on social security disability.

Brother 1. Spends his retirement with friends and family members, travel, and caring for his elderly parents. He worries during the 3 months he winters in Florida whether his brother is keeping a close enough watch on mom and dad.

Brother 2.Spends his retirement on the internet railing against the current administration.As an outspoken person his writings against the President and the war have been copied to websites such as "Moonbat Daily" where he is demonized as a "vicious liberal loon" and a "danger to America"...


So under our current climate, one of us was bound to be noticed. There is a place for middle class patriots and quite another for marginal types like myself, and in the last year those places were clearly defined-I sailed easily through security at both Logan and Orlando International airports, And as we just recently found out, my brother, who went to Normandy to see where the heroes of that war were buried has a "Terrorist Index Number" assigned-After all-the seditious bastard DID leave the country....
