Larry Scott here says what I want to only nicer.

Note the underlined paragraph in the story

The VA will " BORROW " 648 Million from itself to keep veterans' health care going while they operate under a continuing resolution because Republicans didn't pass a budget.

So, does this money get paid back? When? Will the new budget, when it comes, cover this?

Larry has how bad they have F-cked us Veterans its a must read

4. They have taken loans for health care last six years Not one paid back
This is way we are short on health care every year.See Bush claims he funded the VA higher then any other President. Now thats a lie he only funded reconstruction which is pay back to the Republican supporters. Every contract made for the VA is a no-bid contract to Republican owned Companies. We been watching very closely. That why we had some great talking points for our people.

6. Healthcare for Veterans
If we forgive loans made to other countries through the IMF, why shouldn't we forgive loans when it comes to the well-being of our veterans? I just chalk it up as an expense. The contract bidding is unacceptable- I agree.

2. No budget passed
I guess, in a way, its not a bad thing. At least Dems can take a crack at the budget bills in January.

3. Most of the government is running under a continueing resolution
The repubs punted on passing everything but the DoD budget and will let the Dems take the blame for making the hard decisions.
I have a govt client who needs some studies done but he won't get his budget until February at the earliest because of this.

5. Feb 26th Is what we hear.
This was a political move by three Republican Senators on the VA. But the rest was a political move by the Republican leadership to force Democrats to deal with two Budgets. Bush's 2008 Budget come out right before or right after the 26th of Feb
