Kerry could lose the Gay and Lesbian vote.
He should not support the anti-marriage bill that would stop unions between same sex couples. If this is to appease the Southern vote, that is not the way to do it.

It is just wrong.

1. He hasn't said he supports that amendment
despite what people here say.

This gay man will vote for the Democratic nominee in November.

2. He won't support it
The polls say americans don't support an amendement 49-42%. Kerry must have not seen the latest poll before his interview.

6. This Gay man will use the power of his vote
Edited on Mon Feb-09-04 09:19 PM by Democrats unite
to write in on the ticket if I have to. I would rather face an enemy face to face than a sniveling person who wants me to think he is my friend & then stab me in the back!

on edit: they have yet to rip me of my vote & until they do, I shall use it as I see fit.

9. And this gay man will also be voting for Kerry
Edited on Mon Feb-09-04 09:32 PM by oxymoron
if he is on the ballot. Sorry, this spin on his comments today are bullshit. Kerry has a very long record of supporting GLBT issues. I'll take the Human Rights Campaign's word for it thanks.

17. there isn't going to be any constitutional amendment
it's something the right wing always brings out to get their base energized and to raise money. it's usually during election year. such as the defense of marriage act.
