Sandra Day OConnor
While I commend Justice O'Connor for her service to her country while serving on the Iraqi Study Group, she stepped down from the Supreme Court to spend more time with her husband who suffers from Alzheimer's. I can find no reports of her husband John Jay O'Connor's death.

I did discover through a little research that Justice O'Connor dated William Rehnquist when they were in Law School and that she is a member of the Cowgirl Hall of Fame.

1. I'd like to hope that she did it out of a hint of remorse...
for installing the incompetent putz who gave us the war in the first place.

But I doubt it.

7. not an asinine comment at all
In fact, if we had a legitimate president, duly elected and generally agreed to have been duly elected, and furthermore, genuinely interested in doing the job and having a wit of intelligence with which to do the job- we'd have someone who'd know how to bring the country together, and generate the support needed to resolve the issue. But.....
