Let others be the targets for a while. If he decides to run he'll know when to best announce it and I can tell you it won't be anytime soon.

3. One of my friends gets to ask Al a question!

She sent me this earlier today:

Hello iconoclastic cat, Michelle, and Dee! (please send this to Paul. I didn't have his email address),

A few nights ago, I watched "An Inconvenient Truth". As iconoclastic cat had told me, it was a powerful documentary. I felt very overwhelmed and hopeless. I wanted to do something but I was just one person.
So I thought I would write to the Oprah show to encourage her to have Al Gore on. I went to her website and found out she was already planning on having Al Gore on. The site was asking for Chicagoland folks to write in questions for Mr. Gore. I did so and on Saturday night I got a phone call asking if I would come to the show (it will be broadcast live) on Tuesday, December 5th.

This Tuesday, I might (they are not sure if there will be time since it will be live) be asking Mr. Gore my questions regarding global warming. I'll send you an email on Wednesday. If you can, Tivo or record the show!

Al Gore is my hero. He may not be Superman but he is the most qualified person to be our next President. I believe he may be one of our greatest Presidents ever. But if it's not yet time to announce, then wait until the time is right.
