Why are the Republicans calling Virginians?

Somebody please inform me. I picked up the phone around 5:15 this evening and a cheery recorded conservative voice said, "He-LLO, Republican Voter!" I hung up right away, and then wished I hadn't.

What are the Republicans telling people on the eve of the Virginia primary?:tinfoilhat: Did anyone else get this call and listen to it until the end?

Are they telling Republicans which Democratic candidate to vote for? (In 2000, only registered party members could vote in the Virginia primaries; but this time, they're open.)

1. I heard that Republicans were calling people and

telling them to vote in the Republican Primary and not the Democratic Primary. Just Dirty Tricks thats all.

What are they having a primary for?? I wasn't aware the pResident had opposition in his party?
