If they couldn't cut Foley loose how are they going to get away from the Bush legacy?
The Republicans knew about Foley for some 5 years and they could never find a good time to push him out the door whether it was done publicly or if he was promised some deal to keep quiet and just resign.
So if they can't find a big enough gap in time between elections to cut one minor Representative (from a surefire lock of a district for them) how are they going to cut Bush (W) adrift and distance themselves from this entire fiasco of time.
The voters clearly don't support Bush or anything associated with him. All of their party's top dog are completely tied to W so they would have to lop of the top of their universal leadership.
How are they going to pull that off? or should I just wait for Norah and Candy to explain it to me?
