John Kerry Opening 5 New Offices In Wisconsin

Democratic front-runner John Kerry is opening five new Wisconsin offices and plans a stop in Madison later in the week -- his first campaign visit to the Badger State in this primary season.

Kerry's campaign said Monday that more than 50 staffers will be added in Wisconsin where offices will open in Eau Claire, Green Bay, La Crosse, Milwaukee and Wausau in the week leading up to Wisconsin's Feb. 17 primary. He already has an office in Madison.

The senator from Massachusetts will visit Madison Friday and participate in Gov. Jim Doyle's series of town hall-style meetings between the Democratic presidential candidates and voters.
