Kerry wins Maine caucuses
AUGUSTA (AP) -- Senator John Kerry is holding on to his substantial lead as Maine Democrats' top choice for president as more caucus results are being tabulated Monday.

With 80.5 percent of the 403 Maine towns and cities reporting, Kerry has 47 percent of the votes, well ahead of Howard Dean, who has 26 percent.

Congressman Dennis Kucinich, who has campaigned hard in Maine, gets third place with 14 percent.

After it became clear Kerry was the winner in the Maine caucuses, the Massachusetts senator said the state's Democrats sent a message that -- quote -- "George Bush's days as president are numbered and change is coming to America."

9. There were accusations of shady business...
in at least one of the town caucus's that I know of. I don't have the details yet, but I will post them when I do. There may be some challenges to the results in individual towns. It is very unlikely to change the overall result though.
