Clark's Doing Better than Polls Suggest

At least, that's been my experience when eBlocking. Out of 200 calls over the weekend, I only ran into a handfull of hardcore Kerry supporters. I ran into many more Clark fans and Clark "leaners". And there are still many, many undecideds but in general, people are glad we value their vote, and are very receptive to Clark's message.

One guy I reached was so pissed off that "Clark has surrounded himself with these Michael Moore types...they're gonna take away my gun," etc. I gently explained to this gentleman that Clark supports the right to bear arms, but Clark was villified by the democratic base when he came on-board, and if certain endorsements help reach that base, then you can't blame Clark for that, can you? "Well, I guess not. What'd you say his website was? Maybe I'll give him another look. I preeshiate ya callin'."

I can't explain it, but it feels so great to reach these people and dispel various Clark misconceptions. If any of you haven't tried it, sign up and call 10 people. That's all we ask. :-)

George Jones has endorsed Wes and to listen for his radio ad. This is proving very convincing among seniors called in Tennessee.

I said, "Sir Clark was in the military for 34 years, do you really believe he wants to come take your gun?"

Well, no I guess not. But that Michael Moore...

Sigh. Some calls take longer than others, but I'm always happy to spend a little extra time with those that need it. :-)
