Which is the bigger voting bloc?

Which group do you think is larger in this country? And forgive me if this seems overbroad.

1. People who have proven before that they will vote are the most valuable

and that is moderates.

2. Yup, the moderates and swing voters

As proven by our primaries. Where were all of those new voters Dean so fondly talked about? They were voting for Kerry, in record numbers.

3. People in the middle

Care more about effectiveness than ideology. They aren't going to give gov't a free pass on civil liberties, but at the same time they're more disturbed by Bush's incompetence than his ideological extremism (which isn't always apparent in everyday life).

4. Exactly, and why would they replace one extreme with another extreme

People want a President who cares about everyone, not just his side. That was Bush's downfall.
