I am still waiting for someone to come right out and ask the fundies to point to where in the Bible Jesus advocated politics and force of law to spread religion. I always thought the word of God was powerful enough to spread, by word of mouth. Not by courts and cops and political campaigns. Then the fundies would say, you want us to not be in the public square? :crazy: Sure stand in the public square and preach, go for it.

2. I don't see why there could not be some optional thing for religious

families in public schools. Like there are prayer mats for the muslim kids. And, don't shoot me, but why not use the word god at the start of glass if it is part of the speech. That's the real speech. I'm agnostic and it does take a cut out of me to hear others speaking the name or names of their particular religion. I admire quite a few characters in the bible and I'm sure I would the Koran. They were mindblowing for their time this golden rule they all came up with.

Would be a lesson for everyone how to tolerate each other. As, tis doubtful that any class is homogenious. So the atheists just keep quiet or write their own mantra, the religious say god and mean their god(s) and the agnostics say god and mean..whatever it is out there in space that started the whole spinning of big round rocks around suns.
