Rep Bill Jefferson (Louisiana) in runoff
Jefferson, he of 100K in freezer, (but not yet charged with anything) will be in a 5 December runoff with state representative Karen Carter (Democrat.)

1. I hope he loses if he is indeed guilty...
We must NOT have that staining us. That sort of criminal should be unique to the thugs.

2. He got 30%, Carter got 22% in a field of 13
I think Carter has a solid chance of winning. She has some heavy hitters endorsing her and a whole bunch of money. If Jefferson does win he will be in permanent residence in Pelosi's doghouse.

3. When Pelosi talks about cleaning house she should start w/ Jefferson
He is the only stain in the Democratic party compared to the corruption that is pervasive among republicans.
