But my small town has only 2 delegate slots and I deferred to those who wanted the position. I've been a delegate before and wanted others who desperately wanted to go (as delegates) to get a chance. One doesn't need to be a delegate to attend the convention.
As far as you contributing to my campaign? I don't know how you could have since I was a publicly funded candidate.
My mother got elected as a Kerry delegate to the State Convention at today's caucus in (small Central Maine town) :-) She said that Kerry and Dean had an equal number of supporters (~20 each) and Edwards and Clark got 2 or 3 each. Our friend/neighbor from just down the road is going as a Dean delegate.
How hard is it to become a delegate to the National Convention?
