I often have trouble looking into peoples eyes. Kinda a confidence thing I guess.

But for some reason, looking Clark in the eyes is irresistable. The guy has AMAZING charisma. Everything about him says - straight shooter. My trust in this guy is absoluetly implicit.

If the media gave this guy the time he deserves, he would be a shoe in for the nomination.

People can be born with thin lips and small eyes, but people like Bush and Trent Lott have a mean look because they squint their eyes and compresss their lips. If you try it yourself, compressing your lips down the way Bush's go, you can feel what a mean, nasty person like him feels like most of the time - very sour!

I had went to the Clark rally in Knoxville a few days ago going in with the idea that I was 100% positive I was voting for him. Now I'm 250% positive he's the right man for the job. The command he took over the room was amazing and I'm very confident if given the opportunity, Wes will make an EXCEPTIONAL president.

Clark offers our country the most likely route to reviving this nation. I fear that America is dying, and that if bush wins the election, America as a great concept defined by the U.S. Constitution, will be dead. Bush is evil, not consciously, because he is no more consciously aware of concepts like love, honor, freedom, and justice, than is my lawn mower or coffee pot. Bush is an unconscious tool of satan. Clark's eyes indicate a great deal of awareness ... of love, honor, freedom, and justice.

I've watched Wes hundreds of times and he's always the same. He'll smile his way through the political stuff, but when you ask him about war and the military he turns deadly serious.

And his answers on the war are better than those of any other candidate.

His performance today was great. I don't think it'll matter at the polls, but I'll keep contributing to Wes and supporting him for moments like these. As long as he's a viable candidate, he gets airtime to say eloquently what needs to be said about the decision to go to war and BushCo's failures on 9/11.

Lost as they are in partisanship, many Dems fail to appreciate what it means to have a man of Clark's background and stature saying these things in the context of a campaign for the Democratic nomination. They're too busy calling him a Republican. Talk about looking a gift horse in the mouth...

Wes was pummeled from both sides; didn't help that the Dems used RNC talking points.

I just saw Clark on CNN, & it's so obvious that he is the best person for the times we are in, & what a missed opportunity it would be to not nominate him.

alienation from former allies because of Bush...This is important to me as a Canadian....Our trade has been effected because of the strained relations, due to our not attacking Iraq...(Even though we have a large contingent of troops in Afghanistan.)I believe Clark will get America on good ground with the rest of the world again.

15. It helps a lot that Clark has such large, beautiful eyes, as opposed to

the Shrub's small, squinty little orbs.

However, I thought Wes looked a little odd in this interview and it took me a couple of minutes--surprising since I majored in Theatre--to figure it out: he was VERY badly lit.

If this interview is re-run take a look at the difference in the lighting: Wolfie's lit straight on and a little from below, so no lines or bags are visible, whereas Wes is lit mostly from above, and every flaw is emphasized.

Those of you who've seen him up close and in the flesh in broad daylight know he looks about ten years younger than he does on television. This lighting added another 5 years to the 10 TV adds anyway.

But it was a great interview nonetheless. Anyone remember what question it was that just cracked him up? I remember him laughing out loud at something Blitzed asked, but I can't remember what it was.

That's not unusual among officers in the Armed Forces. They have to maintain excellent relationships with their subordinates. I do believe that those who choose to serve in the military or the government do so out of a high regard for their country and, by extension, their countrymen.

22. Too Honest for Dirty Politics.

Clark reminds me of a story my Dad told me. A bunch of guys were drinking in a collage dorm lobby. A professor came in and said "all right who has been drinking here?" All the bookworm guys raised there hands while the jocks left there hands down. The honest bookworm guys got in trouble and the Jocks walked.

Clark, I think has struggled with politics because his instinct is to answer in the most honest way but sadly in politics you can't do that. Clark is having to try to become something he is not and the media is relentless at catching every honest remark he makes and turning them against him.

His Son sees that this is all a big circus and it's a tragedy that we won't end up with by far the strongest, most honest and sincere leader we could have had in 50 years.

Anyway, Quixote, I agree with your analysis. On top of Wes' steep political learning curve, he is up against the Boys and Girls Club also known as the The Democratic Party. Whereas the Republicans have eagerly embraced and nurtured outsiders over the years (if they think they can win), the Democrats remain The Tenure Party; it's about how much time you've put in, not how much talent you have.

Having lost both houses of Congress and gotten consistently outmaneuvered by the Republicans, you'd think the Boys and Girls Club would be more receptive to outside talent than they have shown in the case of Clark.
