8. I emailed Clark requesting he condemn Boehner for INSULTING OUR TROOPS!
It's one thing for Reid and Dean to ask for an apology, but I think it might carry more weight (i.e. more MSM coverage) if a General like Wes Clark were to speak out against this hypocrisy.

I swore I wouldn't get the pre-election jitters, but the stinkers crept up on me anyway. Just reading about Wes makes me feel better. :-)

20. I can tell you this much about Clark and 08' I believe is certain.
If Clark makes the determination that he will run, he will make that determination early. I believe he will base that decision on the degree to which he feels that what he would bring to the table is important, and he will make the decision early.

33. And I will be enjoying the holiday season....
I suspect this determination, one way or another, will come after the holidays.

Clark said once the only way he'd run again is if he felt he was needed. Well he is more desperately needed now than he ever was.

Now it's just getting through the decision making process. Elections drag candidates across the coals and take up chunks of their lives...

But Clark has given more to this country than most people ever will, and I believe that he is the type of man to continue giving, regardless of personal cost.

Here's to Clark-08!

21. Don't know if there'll be video....
I do hope so too though....

But we should get at least two reports from DUers attending....In this thread which I started after I received a Virginia Dems email newsletter which did include Gen Clark for the event (and, just FYI, Wes' participation was posted somewhere on Webb's site the night that Wes confirmed...Maybe on the contribute page for the event), both Penndems and elcondor promised to report back tomorrow. :)

27. I was there and it was incredible! Frenchie Cat how did you get...
such great photos? You must have been right up front--I, a 5'2" female was in the middle with many tall men in front of me; it was totally jammed packed, as you know! I tried to get photos but they were far away and not very clear. When I got home from the rally, I turned on CNN and Anderson Cooper was interviewing Michael J. Fox at the Webb rally and also during the whole hour of his show about Michael's Parkinson's disease. He had Dr. Sanjay Gupta on discussing the various symptoms of the disease. Good show. Catch the repeat if you can.

I'll watch for the repeat of the interview.

I pray Webb Wins! :patriot:

25. Awesome!!!!
I saw Webb with Obama today in Richmond.

Mark Warner and Tim Kaine were there, too. That wasn't on the events list on the Webb site.

O M G

I've been to a lot of political rallies but never one with the intensity.

The Webb speech I had heard the day before in Williamsburg but the Obama speech was fucking PHENOMINAL.

I would dare to say that every single person who attended that rally left with an even stronger resolve to further the progressive cause.

WE ARE GOING TO WIN!

There's also a link to pictures from the Cardin rally.

The Webb rally looked PACKED...and Michael, for all of his physical woes, looks great.

37. Wow...
That's a big K&R
:bounce:

I just voted early for Mr. Webb, 'cause I'll be leaving for San Diego tomorrow for a week. It was busy at around 4:00 pm, at the Franconia Govt. Center, the Fairfax County part of Alexandria, VA. I think that's it's a good sign. But it's early voting only for those that would qualify for an absentee ballot.
