I found something that was pretty interesting
http://www.gpnys.org/archives/000010.php

All but two counties in the Iowa Caucuses used DRE e-vote technology.
And we'll never be able to verify the results.

1. Dean should have won it

I wonder what the exit polls say.
If they hadn't been tampered with that is.

4. Dean rigged the machines.
He couldn't even get that right.

11. that PDF
is from over a year ago. It shows what kind of voting machines are used in various counties in Iowa.

Caucuses are not votes in the traditional sense. The machines used in general elections have nothing to do with the caucuses.

Damn, this is funny.

12. What Dookus said
What you linked to is not the results of the Iowa caucus. It's just a summary of Iowa voting systems.

Geeze loueeeze!

5. LOL...
the allegation about vote rigging in New Hampshire was laughable enough. This is just outright hilarious. People stand together and are counted in a caucus. As far as I know, there's no ballots at all.

Dean lost. Sorry, but that's just the way it turned out.

9. It's that way in Iowa, too.
People stand in the room and heads are counted. Results are phoned in in the presence of everyone in the room.

6. A caucus is not done by ballot or machine
It's done by counting heads by hand.

THERE WAS NO DRE E-VOTE TECHNOLOGY USED IN THE IOWA CAUCUS

13. Boy who cried
wolf... The constant charges of vote rigging in Dem primaries has the potential to cause eye-rolling responses to any real claims of impropriety in November.

14. that's an excellent point, Tobius
(and welcome to DU :hi:)

I've been arguing against the conspiracy theorists for a while now, and that's one of the best arguments I've heard in a long time. It makes Democrats look nuts on the issue. Thanks for raising it - I'll be sure to steal it :)

I don't the like the shift to electronic balloting either, but the wild "we was robbed" by 20 points is ridiculous and now tedious

18. well, it's not going away unless we fight it at every turn...
I don't want to hear for the next four years how Dean was robbed. He wasn't robbed (except maybe by Trippi) - people voted for somebody else. That's how it works. All the money in the world isn't going to change that.
