Casey's Lead Over Santorum Increases to 16pts
In Pennsylvania, Poll Shows Casey Pulling Away
In Pennsylvania's U.S. Senate race, a new Temple/Inquirer poll shows Sen. Rick Santorum has lost ground to his opponent, Bob Casey Jr (D). Last month, Casey led by 11 points. The latest poll has Casey ahead by a stunning 16 points, 54% to 38% with 6% undecided.

Said pollster Michael Hagen: "The war in Iraq is the issue that is playing most heavily in Casey's favor. Pennsylvanians, like people all over the country, are becoming more discouraged with the situation, less convinced than they were two years ago that going to war in Iraq was the right thing to do, and less certain about what to do next."

3. he's the creepiest, only because Frist is not running again.
kyl, Burns and a few others come too close to call, though.

19. Make a list ...
ALLEN ... It will be an absolute shame if Webb can't take him down ... Webb is 10 times the man Allen ever will be ... As noted Kyle and Burns ... Tester is a scaled down Santorum ...

But, make no mistake, in a party of absolute freaks, Santorum is the head of the class ...

2. The people doing the polling at Santorum's campaign headquarters
must be really hating their jobs about now.

Everything Santorum's done in the last few weeks have had the reverse effect from their intent and design.

He's the No. 3 Republican in the Senate and he's about to go down in flames in a double-digit percentage loss.

Casey's people have outsmarted him and outflanked him. And there's a heavy undercurrent in the race which says Pennsylvanians just don't like the guy.

18. In the year or so that they have been polling ...
He has NEVER broke 40 percent ...

The FREAKS in this state would literally take a bullet for the guy, but he LONG ago lost the middle (read sane/those who can see past their party) in this state ...

IF he somehow wins ... The only proper response would be complete and total anarchy ...

20. That's the impression I get, too. The results won't come in officially
until Nov. 7th but I think in every other gauge, Casey's won this one.

23. and his show, "I'm and ass in the morning"
He was on some right wingers show at 7 pm. Silver haired, mid to late 40's, says he's a recovering alcoholic. I don't know his name, but he sure as hell is a right winger. Bashing Pelosi. Asking Santorum what's going on with this Chavez/voting machine "scandal". Rick just can't seem to hide from the TV cameras these days!

8. Santorum is done, finished, kaput.
Color him gone. If we can't count on us picking up his seat, we have real problems.

13. Casey
I will be voting Santorum out. But could someone tell me Casey's view on illegals? Having a hard time finding this info. Santorums ad's that are running have Casey for the illegals. Thanks

17. Undocumented workers should get double social security.
Edited on Sun Oct-29-06 07:22 PM by LoZoccolo
We liberals are giving people, so I think that we should reward people for crossing the border with more than we give ourselves. Maybe even triple social security.

If you saw it in a GOP ad, it's probably somewhat to totally false.

He'll need either a miracle or one of Karl Rove's dirty tricks to pull his fat out of the fire.

Don't let the door hit you in your fat, self-righteous ass on the way out.

(I'm not voting for Casey, I'm voting against Santorum. I'd vote for an untrained monkey rather than Santorum.)

as he can beat Santorum, I don't care about him being a DINO.
