Post links to 'em here. I hope many join in because this would make a good research and reference thread for future elections. Even if the ads have been discussed elsewhere at DU (such as George Allen ads), it would be great if they were posted, just for the record.
Many of you will have seen ads locally that people in other parts of the country would never see. Reviewed in one place, we might see similarities. This might give us some ideas about what republicans are up to in their communications.
For my money, Vernon Robinson of NC has the most incendiary ads :nuke: I've seen to date. In one TV ad, he combines joblessness and immigrants, scapegoating immigrants for the lack of jobs.
The images he uses of immigrants show them disrespectful of the U.S., what with demonstrations, crotch grabbing flag burning, and jeering, all while taking our jobs and not paying taxes.
Vernon Jordan's radio ad about immigrants is sung to the Beverly Hillbillies theme and characterizes Brad Miller as a sugar daddy giving away our tax dollars (! yo, Vernon, can you spell "H-A-L-L-I-B-U-R-T-O-N?!)
