Bloomberg, you fucking IDIOT, Lieberman DOESN'T "share your Independent streak"
He's a fucking REPUBLICAN, OK? on PAPER, he's "Independent." In REAL LIFE, he can tell you EVERYTHING Karl Rove had for LUNCH.

:grr:

HARTFORD, Connecticut (AP) -- If Sen. Joe Lieberman wins a fourth term on November 7, it's a safe bet New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg will be high on his thank-you list.

Bloomberg, a Republican who shares Lieberman's independent streak, is playing a prominent role helping to raise money for the Democratic senator, the Lieberman campaign said Saturday.

:spray:

The mayor has also dispatched several campaign operatives to Connecticut to help Lieberman reach GOP and independent voters as the race closes. Lieberman is running as an independent after losing to wealthy businessman Ned Lamont in the Democratic primary.

"The mayor has been extremely generous personally in being willing to help us raise money," Lieberman spokesman Dan Gerstein said.

Bloomberg appeared at a major Chicago fundraising event for Lieberman recently. He will campaign with Lieberman on Monday in Stamford, greeting commuters and formally endorsing him. Bloomberg will also host a fundraiser next week at his home, Gerstein said. Bloomberg operatives are helping to build Lieberman's get-out-the-vote effort, which is targeting a mix of Democratic, Republican and independent supporters.

1. I posted about this group for Bloomberg last year.
This is appalling. Follow the links I posted especially the one to Steve Gilliard's blog. There's a connection to the Dems for Joe and Democrats for Bloomberg I posted about.

I don't feel at all comfortable with this.

3. Are you aware he was a life-long Democrat?
Who only changed parties to avoid a crowded primary. In the wake of 9/11, he easily defeated an Hispanic candidate who'd been forced into a run-off.

Yup, Lieberman and Bloomberg both demonstrate contempt for party politics.

4. Well ,that makes it even more expected.
I also know he hasn't been shy about calling himself a republican ,nor has he been shy about working as one and helping out other republicans.

5. Lieberman is a republican only on Iraq.
If/when Lieberman defeats Lamont, has he said whether he will return to the Democratic Party? It may determine who holds the Senate.
