3. My cousin, also an attorney,
worked directely with Mr. Spitzer in Albany up until last year when he (my cousin) went into private practice. He has high regard and respect for Mr. Spitzer. A Gore/Spitzer or Gore/Obama ticket would do it for me.

It's gotten awfully dirty the last 12 years

5. No, you cannot have him
he's MINE. Take that. After all these years of Pataki, I say, no, no, no.

9. Agreed. New York's new Governor Eliot Spitzer will be great.
Keep your hands off him. You can smack Pataki on his way out, however.

6. Let's start a thread for Obama/? tickets...
and get it over with so that 10 new threads a day aren't being created from this wild speculation.

Sorry, but it's frustrating. It's not difficult to keep it under one thread.

7. I think that this is an excellent idea.............but...
One who's time has not yet arrived!

Give both these fine gentlemen a few years to get really good and well-known for their qualities....

And then run this ticket!

I'm all for it, in a few years!

:patriot:

8. heh
I keep Obama and throw out Spitzer.

http://www.nolandgrab.org/candidates.php

"Spitzer on Atlantic Yards via Daily News: “I'm for it. I'm not crazy about government subsidies, obviously, but this is a project where there's a hole in the ground. I see an enormous upside in terms of the stadium, the housing, the jobs.”

One concession to political sanity was Spitzer’s call for more time for the community to review the Draft Environmental Impact Statement. "

Spitzer is the darling of the MSM here in NY. No Spitzer for me.

11. Can you elaborate on the Atlantic Yards and what's so
distasteful? I'm from NY but live in TX, so I really am not familiar with what you're talking about. Thanks.

12. Atlantic Yards
What is so distasteful about Atlantic Yards is that it threatens to displace 1,000 people who are mostly black.

Spitzer has a huge "black" problem because this isn't the first time that he has gone after the black community as a whole.

He makes it a habit of dissolving black non-profits and, at the same time, giving Wall Street a "mocking" slap on the hand every time they do something illegal.

Look at the comments of Larry A. Barton on this page:

14. one of my friends said that
It's better to vote for David Duke because at least Duke is upfront about being a klansman.

10. in 2012 or 2016 maybe
not 2008. He has to clean up NY first, which he will.
