hastert says he takes full responsibility for the foley scandal
Okay, so now what? Are there consequences when a republican accepts responsibility for something so heinous? Sorry for the easy question.

1. Now what?
Blame Clinton and the Democrats. I'm sure they'll figure a way.

3. Yeah, right
I don't see any flying pigs or walking trees, and I'm fairly certain it isn't February 31st already.

4. He said that before, right before he blamed Dems for leaking info
that only Rethugs had.

The buck stops here. Wait. No it doesn't.

Asswipe.

6. In Bush-World, taking responsibility requires no sacrifice ...
if you continue to fail you may also look forward to receiving "The Medal of Freedom" so you will STFU for the duration. :puke:

7. Time to Resign, Denny. You ignored a sexual predator preying on
young boys in addition to your other GOP-related corruption for political reasons. Why should anyone trust you to operate this Country?

8. Nothing happens. "Accepting Responsibility" is Republican Absolution
Edited on Tue Oct-24-06 02:18 PM by Atman
They do it every time they're busted. They say "I accept responsibility, even though it was everyone else's fault. But we need to look to the future and confront the problems facing us, not waste time looking back at what might have been."

I tried that when I got pulled over for speeding one night. I told the officer I accepted full responsibility, and that now I was going to be moving forward. There is no sense dwelling on how fast I was going, I told him, because I'm already here. "We need to instead focus on my destination, the future, and how late I will be to my next appointment if you don't let me go soon." He didn't buy it for a second. I guess I'm not a fat-shit child-molesting Republican.

I wonder...do they have special license plates for that, so that when cops pull them over they know right away that it's a FSCMR? Like a little sticker or shield?

9. I guess they have one shield: they call it "National Security" (ask
Sibel Edmonds).

The Republicans use it to terrify the U.S. into submission when it suits them: (Pre-"elections").

10. Boss UpDate A lot of yelling heard from the Committee room
Its look like Hastert again denied knowing any thing. Ranking Member of the Committee asked 19 times did you know. Judy Biggert tried to stop him from asking. It look like the Committee will not report until after NOV 8TH

12. Translation of "I take full responsibility"
In Pukespeak, that means, "I take no responsibility. Nothing will be done to anyone. No one (except victims) will suffer any consequences."
