The tide is turning. ( A plea from Wes Clark)

It's what the polls say and it's what the pundits say. Everywhere I travel, people tell me they have had it with the Republicans' one-party rule in Washington, and they want them out now. Respected political analyst Charlie Cook calls this election "one of those once- or twice-in-a-generation elections when a party enjoys unbelievable gains."

We must seize this opportunity.

But for all our momentum, Democrats still have to do the hard campaign work to make sure we emerge victorious on Election Day.

That's why in past months I have urged you to support Democratic Senate candidates like Harold Ford in Tennessee, Ned Lamont in Connecticut, Claire McCaskill in Missouri, Jon Tester in Montana, and Jim Webb in Virginia. And it is why today, I am imploring you to support the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC).

Please contribute to the DSCC today -- and help Democrats take back the Senate on November 7th!

1. Clark's call for cash is a ringing bell on liberty's church. Let's give generously.
I know the polls indicate a blue tide, but as long as it's comin' in, let's make it the strongest wave we can.

4. Yep...I'm still feeling that it could go either way in terms of us actually
retaking any house of congress. It really may be all about the money (although it shouldn't be). Cause although the tide has turned, it is starting to recede! These voters only have the memory of 2 or 3 days MAX! and for us, that doesn't help! :(

But I'm still optimistic enough....I just don't feel that its a sure thing. Guess I'll have to be totally broke till November 7th! oh well.....

6. I almost never give to the umbrella organizations
Only to individual candidates.

But I can't say "no" to Da General either. ;)

And besides, the DSCC is running some kickass ads in MO right now, for Claire McCaskill. God knows we need 'em. Their Repub counterpart is pouring money into the state.

8. I usually donate to the individual (Clark) too because I trust he'll
give it to those in need and I'd rather have him get the credit...but when HE asks us to donate to the DSCC...I do it!

Ford on MSNBC now!
