8. Brava!
Everyone is glomming onto Obama as VP for their candidate of choice, but you have demonstrated clearly why he MUST run with Gore. Well done!

10. Yeah, we could watch him grow into the presidency
while doing a lot of good in the world. Wow. An environmentalist and a diplomat in the WH. What a stunning thought. I want to believe it's possible.

11. Hi rhiannon55....what a breath of fresh air from the Darth Cheney.
Someone who cares about people in place of a man who reaps big profits on creating death and misery in the lives of people.

13. I was wondering about Gore breaking the "rules"
and announcing his VP before the primary?

Could he do that?

Al/Obama sings real good for me.

23. why would you immediately assume racism?
Gore has WAY more experience than Obama...Obama doing 8 years as VP would give him a good background to then be the head of the ticket in 2016.

24. Historically, candidates are much more likely to win as a VP or Governor
then coming straight from the Senate.

Obama serving as VP would certainly not hurt his chances of becoming the first AA President.

I think he will probably be the top VP candidate for whoever wins the primary - that is, of course, if Obama doesn't run or doesn't win the nomination.

The candidate gets to pick who they want, of course, but that doesn't stop the political junkies from considering potential Pres/VP candidates. If Clark doesn't win the nomination, I think he is also a very strong VP candidate. Obama = hope, progress, the future; Clark = experience and strength.

Gore, Clark and Obama were all against the Iraq War before it started which is one reason why they are all attractive potential candidates to me. I really don't want to deal with defending someone's vote for the War when many of us and potential candidates were against it from the beginning. I'll do it if it happens but I probably wouldn't support them in the caucuses.
