Which state will Dennis Kucinich win?
If the answer is "none", and DK can't even win a single state in the Democratic Primaries, how many states do you think he would win in the GE?

And if the answer here is "none" also, then why is he even taking peoples' hard earned money in order to stay in this race?

2. That's a good analogy. I think it's about the same, actually.
I've got $100 more to give in this election cycle.

I'm gonna hold it and give it to the nominee.

3. none
he wouldn't have a snowball's chance in hell of beating bush, much less getting the dem nomination, much less even winning a single state for that matter.

22. Which is sad
Because if you know the Kucinich platform, you see he holds our ideas true. If DK has not a chance in hell, than hell is where we are, I guess we can hope for the "lesser evil" to beat bush right?

5. If the answer is "none"...
then it is because he hasn't been one of the medial "darlings" - #1.

Most importantly, it's because a HUGE number of democrats say things like "I just love Dennis, he speaks for me completely, he is my PERFECT candidate - but he is unelectable."

Why is he "unelectable?" Because he's not one of the media's darlings, and if they mention him at ALL, it's to talk about how he's unelectable.

I'm one DK delegate that refused to switch my vote to an "electable" candidate. Dennis deserves my delegate vote, regardless of whether he wins my state or not.

DK IS electable - but very few are willing to look beyond the media presentation and do what it takes to elect him.

6. Okay, that's $30 for Dennis
If you haven't been following, I've taken up revcarol on her suggestion to add $5 to my monthly contribution to DK every time someone starts a snarky thread about him. Yours is the sixth. :-)

16. Well, I can't do that
but it is time for my small donation so this thread is a good place to announce I am sending another $25 tonight. Not a waste of money IMO. In fact, it is the best investment I have ever made.

20. I'm unemployed, but I'm ponying up $10 to help....
pay the hall rental fee for his rally here in MN. BTW, as far as I can tell, he's got the strongest campaign in the state. On my small block alone, there are THREE Kucinich yard signs-- all of which have gone up independent of each other, I might add.

The only other campaigns I've actually even SEEN on the ground are Dean's and Kerry's. Supposedly Clark has a campaign here too, but I have yet to see any evidence of that.

I'm happily into the 4 figure range on DK's campaign. I'm ready to do more soon.

Only ONE candidate for
US president openly states that
he would end the unjust policy
of sanctions and embargoes
against Cuba AND Americans.

That candidate is Dennis Kucinich.

He is a good man with good policies and his voice should be heard.

10. I think
he's the only candidate who would defeat Bush outright in the general election. This is exactly why the media stands in the way between his policies and the American people.

Those of you who say 'no chance in hell' etc. aren't looking beyond the media presentation. Look at his campaign: universal healthcare, public college education (no society can truly be free that is not educated), etc. These issues are in the public interest, period. Ask anyone, they'll tell you, these are great concepts.

So here is where I expect you to say something like 'see they're just concepts, there not practical...' Well you're regurgitating media propaganda, but then again if that's all you eat...

So i don't expect DK to win any primaries, but I do think that as the war becomes more apparently terrible to the public at large, his campaign becomes more and more important, and then it happens: we become an unstoppable movement.

11. a state of mind: "we'll cross party lines if need be to kick Bush out"
Will Pitt started a topic on this issue; you might want to read his thoughtful piece, which gives a privileged view from a well-informed perspective.

In essence: Dennis Kucinich runs to deliver the message that we need more than a name change in the White House.

Good enough for me a reason.

The movement has begun. People are beginning to realize that the media isn't some gauge, it's a tool. We can work from there.

If you place policies over pragmatics in the primaries, there is only one candidate to vote for. We can compromise ourselves and our values later.
