I was just surveyed by Survey 2006
Does anyone know anything about them. It was automated. The questions were,

Do you plan to vote in the upcoming election?

Do you have a favorable or unfavorable opinion of Hilliary Clinton? (I thought this one weird because I live in NC and can't vote for her)

Do you agree with the NRA and their beliefs about gun ownership? (Or something like that)

Are you 50 years old or older?

There may have been another question or two.

1. I just took an online Zogby poll.
A REALLY embarrassing one.

What was the subject matter? Well, let's just say I responded to the question at the bottom that started with "Comments?" And an email address followed. So I responded.

Dear Zogby pollsters:

Please excuse me but - bush just killed Habeas Corpus, the Iraq War is worse than ever, republi-CONS are preying upon underage boys (and evidently, an underage girl, too), North Korea likely has The Bomb, we're hated everywhere, there may be another stolen election, the middle class is disappearing, there's NO accountability ANYWHERE -

And you're asking me about MY EATING HABITS?????????

Yes. That was the main thrust of the poll.

9. What I had seen in LBN here and elsewhere yesterday indicates
the ongoing House Ethics Committee investigation testimony was unearthing the scent of not one (Foley) but three congresspeople who'd played naughty with the congressional pages. One of that new pair had preyed upon young boys (a la Foley), but the third was suspected of doing so with a teenage girl. I heard a brief mention of it, I believe on Olbermann, too, yesterday. Nothing's been "fleshed out" pardon the pun, that I know of. But the investigation, as they say, continues. And I heard it stated on MSNBC yesterday or today that this widening congressional page scandal was "the gift that keeps on giving."

2. Push Poll
That's what the call a push poll. Only it was not acid enough. They are ususally very slurring. They say they don't even record the results. It is only to try to put negative thoughts in your head.

7. I got that one too and answered it last wk. It's a repuke poll that I had
lots of fun with. Said I voted for Bush and them creamed them w/my answers to their automated questions. Figured they'd record my responses if I said I had voted for the king, and ignore them if I didn't.

Answer it next time and have some fun.

8. I like that.
Tell them you voted for Bush and then "cream" em on the subsequent questions. I'll give that a try. Thanks!

6. Would it change your mind if you knew candidate X favored AMNESTY
for ILLEGAL ALIENS?

I've gotten that one a couple of times about a state senate candidate. Geez. I said "No, is this push poll? I'm voting for all Democrats and I don't care about any of this crap".

I got it twice.
