Effect of the Lack of an October Surprise...
The media hype is enormous regarding an October surprise launched by Karl Rove.

I see thread after thread here discussing the possibility and even the MSM is wondering what is up.

And even part of the reason that I can't let myself get too excited is because of the possibility of such an event.

But a thought crossed my mind...what if the lack of an October surprise actually hurts the Republicans even further? I imagine that every Republican is holding their breath...waiting...hoping...

And how many will stay home because nothing ever happens?

Thoughts?

4. Inverse thinking
What if this IS the October surprise?

Foley's folks knew of events over a year ago but said nothing until now.

Repubs warn of disaster of Dems win in November. (Either way I'm not entirely optimistic)

Scandal after scandal against repubs are coming out en masse - now

The media seems to be having a gleeful time pointing out all of these repub problems (except FOX, being true to themselves...)

For all of it: Why now? Why so much? Is it a sheer coincidence, or do they want to set the Dems up for the kill? What is going on?

6. They Could Start a War With Iran Any Day
They would probably do it as close to Election Day as possible
so that body bags and high gas prices would not be in evidence
before the vote.

7. Now that Bush has signed the terror bill...
We might just find out that most of the Democratic candidates will have mysteriously disappeared a day before elections.
