Church Lady Ahmadinejad: Bush inspired by...oh, I dunno...SATAN???
Iran leader in Bush 'Satan' claim

Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has reportedly delivered a scathing attack on US President George W Bush, saying he is inspired by Satan.

Speaking to a group of supporters, Mr Ahmadinejad said he himself had inspirational links to God, Iranian media reports.

He was talking to supporters at a mosque in the capital Tehran. The reports come as Iran is facing the prospect of UN sanctions over its nuclear programme. The president has been making light of the risk of any confrontation with the outside world.

According to the Iranian media, Mr Ahmadinejad said he had inspirational links to God, and went on to say that if you were a true believer, God would show you miracles. Then the Iranian president said Mr Bush was similar to him. According to Mr Ahmadinejad, the US president also receives inspiration - but it is from Satan. He repeated: "Satan inspires Mr Bush."

1. I'm so sick of all the good vs. evil talk.

Both men - Ahmadinejad and Bush - two peas in a pod. Just take the names and interchange them; same stupid fire and brimstone garbage.

2. That really is the truth.
Gotta tell ya...as a Christian (my choice, not "recruiting" here), the single thing that MOST offends me about Bush is his "born again" facade.

FIRST, while he doesn't come right out and SAY that he "found Jesus" through Billy Graham, he never CORRECTS anyone who grabs on to that MISTAKEN belief.

George W. Bush "came to Jesus" in a Holiday Inn in Texas, meeting with a revival preacher named Arthur Blessitt, whose gimmick was carrying a 70-pound, 12-foot cross wherever he went.

Billy Graham "sounds" better, so like every other lie in Bush's manufactured-for-the-media life, he's pleased as punch to let the unwashed masses believe that Graham was the door to the "new Bush."

Truth is that a crazed fanatic who calls him/herself a Christian and a crazed fanatic who does not is still a crazed fanatic.

Bush is CRAZED. Ahmadinejad is CRAZED. They're the SAME GUY.

:patriot:

3. Yep.
And as long as our foreign policy is based on such thinking, we are doomed. Being Christian has nothing to do with it - as you've pointed out, fanaticism can hijack any religion.
