One thing Pelosi/Reid/Dean should do.....
Hold a press conference and announce that if the Dems take control of the Congress, the following day they will meet with Bush and demand a true bi-partisan group of people form to figure out what to do about Iraq. In this speech they could state that they don't care who gets the credit for solving this problem, only that it must be done and done quickly.

Further, they could direct a few barbs at Bush and point out how over the past three years his version of "bi-partisanship" has only been that of one side and it's time to bring in all Americans regardless of party affiliation.

2. Wrong- the media does not show our press conferences...
They need to go on TV interview/debate shows or write Op-Eds that say those things- or whatever it is they want to say.

No one sees Democratic press conferences- the media wont show them.

3. They'll point to the Iraq Study Group
So no, we shouldn't do that now. We should keep pointing out that Bush never listens to anybody which is why we need majority oversight, to get the truth to the people so the people can force change.

4. Couldn't disagree more
Bush fucked this up. I have no interest in helping him.

5. And I'm tired of watching...
our soldiers pay the price for this idiot. It's time for the Dems to stand up, take charge and do something.

And no one can tell me that if Pelosi, Reid, Dean and other very high profile Dems issued a press release stating they would be holding a press conference on a certain day at a certain time, that tv cameras would not show up. They would. The hard thing would be stopping one or more of the Dems from making a fifteen minute speech.
