More Conservative (non) compassion for troops and their families
PRESSURED BY THE WHITE HOUSE AND DRUG INDUSTRY LOBBYISTS (that could be a complete sentence), Congress has KILLED a Senate passed provision that would have forced pharmaceutical manufacturers to grant the Department of Defense deep discounts on drugs dispensed through the Tricare retail pharmacy network.

Read all about it here:

SUPPORT THE TROOPS, WAVE THE FLAG, HIDE THE CASKETS COMING HOME FROM IRAQ, TRASH VETS WHO ARE RUNNING FOR CONGRESS AS DEMOCRATS, EMAIL THAT CUTE LITTLE PAGE IN THE REAGAN BUILDING.

My hate is rational.

1. That's nice.
Wonder if the mainstream media will go after this story. REPUBLICANS TO TROOPS: FUCK OFF. Didn't the Republicans do the same with that horrible bankruptcy bill?

2. Just because we're at war
You don't expect Big Pharma to cut profits, do you? What kind of heartless librul are you? I suppose you think it's bad for Big Oil to post the highest quarterly profits of any industry ever, too? Sacrifice is for other people, not the overrich and not big corporations.

3. And
the insurance companies are also posting record profits after spending the last year whining about katrina claims.

Yeah, I'm just a whiny liberal.
