13. During a long conversation with a repug wing nut (loves Chucklenuts)

the other day he asked me of a repug I do respect. I was honestly taken aback and couldn't come up with a single name. He had already railed on how terrible Frist is (couldn't get anything done). He was kinda stumped too when I asked him the same thing expecting him to evoke St. McCain's name. But, nope, he hates - HATES - McCain because he isn't neoconish enough. Appears St. McCain has pissed in his Wheaties on both sides of the political spectrum.

He finally tried to drag out Giuliani and Gingrich but I threw the whole ethically and morally lacking of each and he started sputtering. All I had to do was throw in a couple of "Foleys" and the conversation was over, he decided it was time to go.

Have I changed his mind? Nope. Not in the least but at least it shut him up. This man is preaching and converting (tells me he doesn't sleep night because he is worried about my soul) and in the church door every time the door's are open so he is in quite a quandary. He is also narrow-minded, stubborn and bigoted - and will not ever change his mind. Our only hope for people like him is that they forget to vote. Because he would push the lever for Satan himself if he had an R after his name.

18. This guy is schizophrenic - hardworking, church going on one hand

but a total nut job on the other. Told me he doesn't care who the repugs run he will vote for him (certainly no WOMAN!) no matter how bad the country gets because the Dems would make it okay for homos (his word) to exist in public. Nor marry, not adopt, but to exist. (*Sad note - I would bet a bunch of money that one of his grandsons is gay. Most troubled, self destructing kid I have ever seen. They have shipped him off to a Christian college to straighten him out.)

This guy is 72 years old and has lived his entire life with a woman (whom I really like) completely under his thumb with no rights what so ever. They have been married for over 50 years and he told me his will is written so that his sons get everything. Cuts the wife and daughter out completely. The daughter because she has a husband to take care of her (husband cheats on the daughter, known fact by this guy - daughter must be doing something wrong) - and her wife because he "didn't work his entire life to have some other guy come in and live off of him." His wife is 72, has serious health problems and he is worried about her using his money to live the high life after he is gone. She will be totally and completely dependent upon Social Security and her daughter if he goes before her. And the sons, one a Baptist preacher, the other a lazy good for nothing, will take the money and run. Mom be damned because this is what Daddy wanted.

He owns a lot of rental property and has never, and no matter what anyone say, will never rent to a homo or a black or a mixed or unmarried couple. He really doesn't like unmarried women with children but it is his "Christian duty" to "give" (overcharge) a home to these poor souls.

His head is so far up his ass that it would be funny if there weren't millions more just like him.

I have to see and interact with this moran on a weekly basis. After 15 minutes with this guy and I am totally despondent that this country cannot overcome this kind of religious whack job.
