Bush's "Honorable Discharge" Is A Local Document!
He technically had several months remaining on his contract. The National guard Discharge published was executed at his "unit" in Texas, then his records were shipped the Air Reserve Personnel Center in Colorado.
Note, Bush didn't even sign his Texas discharge paper (member unavailable to sign)!
His records are now at ARPERCEN in St. Louis, and even if the Texas microfiche was "scrubbed," ARPERCEN should have all of the original documents, including his FINAL discharge issued by Uncle Sam!

Just gotta hope that none of Bush's pirates got in there and "scrubbed' those records as well, 'cause they sure couldn't have done it before he was President.

1. Dude maybe you shouldn't post this...
...and like, just give out a call for someone that could get the documents in St. Louis to give you a PM so you can have them get it before it can be "scrubbed" if it's still there.

2. Welcome to DU Torgo4!
Its going to be a long hard slog getting to the truth with bush*, the republicans have circled the wagons on this one bigtime. Wouldn't the act of deleting official federal records be obstruction of justice? Considering bush* was awol, its an outrage he thinks he has any right sending American sons and daughters to war and too many to their deaths but as in all crimes like this its the cover up that will get them in the end. Maybe not bush* but his administration. The man can take no responsibility. Its shameful.

Yup---I be a MISTIE!

I don't think he ever saw the final desposition/accumilation of his records, since he kinda blew off his Guard duty. I'll lay odds that neither coke-boy nor is flunkies know what's in the St. Louis files. I've researched records from there and getting just DA 2-1 records (listing of schools & assignments) though they are releasable, can be frustrating. Many time it's whether or not you get a lazy responder or not. But with high profile name like his, could be tricky!

The trouble with scrubbing final records is that they would have to match up to the already scrubbed Texas records that exist. It would take a lot of research and even experienced records personnel would miss something that thousands of eyes would catch...say...on the internet.

Getting in at ARPERCEN is NOT easy, and requires proof of ID, Next-of Kin, etc.

All media whore TImmy Russert has to do I have Baby Bush sign an SF(Standard Form) -180 tomorrow, requesting a copy of his records and presto---Let the American Legion or some other NON bought-&-paid-for -whore organization publish them! Definitle not for Russert to scrub!

Best for Timmy to take Bush's word for it and proceed to something where his credibility is intact like, WMD in Iraq!!!

10. Thanks for this link
Very interesting.

Is this form the DD-214? Mine looks different from this (although it's much more recent), and I was available to sign mine, LOL.

This is not the DD214. Look at the form number at the bottom.
