without a doubt. If that was the ticket there would be a total landslide. It wouldn't even be close. We'd have a 49 state sweep. *drools*

5. The electable ticket is the antiwar ticket: Clark/Dean
The unelectable ticket is the prowar ticket: Kerry/Gephardt.

7. I'd prefer Clark/Dean
but either way would do the trick. K/G I have serious doubts about.

this country needs change, K/G ticket would not bring any change, it would stay politics as usual!

9. Not sure
Dean and Clark have made more mistakes in their campaigns, so K-G might be better positioned to pick up a cautious no-confidence vote in Bush from the electorate.

But Clark/Dean would give people a better chance to vote for a more positive difference and if they connected, would really smoke Bush and send the neocons into hiding.

I say swing for the fences.

handsdown. I wonder if DG endorsed Kerry hoping for a VP slot. That would be a TOTAL disaster for the election.

who wouldn't vote for them!

Are you kidding? A physician and a general?!

But that would be too good to be true.

22. Sure
Every report out of GOP central says they are salivating over a Dean/ anybody nomination as they have more to hit Dean on, but are in dread of Kerry getting the nomination. There is literally nothing but the last hopes of the supporters of Dean to hang that belief on.

It seems that the American public, bith democrat and republican beleive it too because all ofthose polls showing Kerry winning againt Bush 55 Kerry. Bush 49 percent arent polls of just democrats, but of Democrats, Republicans and Independents. In no polls does Dean in combination withanyone beat Bush ans in fact Dean is slaughtered by Bush in every state in the nation.

19. Why not Kerry-Edwards?
I would say Dean/Clark over Dean/Edwards, though; the military cred might help him. In Kerry's case, it'd be redundant. Edwards would make an excellent veep, and complements Kerry nicely in many ways: elder statesman/young guy; NE-er/Southerner; liberal moneyed class/working-class background (and middle-class & working-class appeal). Also: Edwards, moere African-American appeal than any of the others. Also, and this is key (sorry to be so cyncical): eye candy, charm. May not be the best reason to vote for Pres; in a veep it's almost unavoidable. Gephardt I just don't see adding any appeal at all; he may be decent on the issues, but he has no charm, and as veep he'll have little chance to implement his solid approach to the issues. Anyway he's already dropped out. Why bother, when you could have a front-runner?

20. Clark/Dean
I just don't see how anyone could think the reverse. Howard has NO military experience...and believe you me...Bush will make that a very important issue if Clark drops out. Since we ARE in a war in Iraq...don't we need someone in the whitehouse who has the knowledge to get us out of that mess? If we weren't in Iraq, I'd vote for Dean.

Any ticket with dean is toast, as much as I hate to say it, my #2 Kerry may be my #1 soon, I want Clark to win so bad I can taste it but in reality he's being toumbstoned by either bad or lack of press, shame too, he would make one hell of a President.

And then there were none!
