Another Page problem - this time it is with a girl???

I just watched Tweety's weekend show - Tucker Carlson's "tell me something I don't know" was that another Representative (he didn't say which party) was fooling around with a Page but this time it was with a girl. He said that he thinks it will come out before the election.

I kind of assumed it would be a Republican because he didn't act like it would neutralize the issue which may happen if it was shown that a Democrat was also screwing around with the Pages.

Hmmmm.

I just flipped by my local NBC station and saw "The Chris Matthews Show" on. It was pretty good. Bush bashing fest (although I missed the first 7 minutes).

Maureen Dowd, Andrew Sullivan, Norah O'Donnell and Tucker Carlson were the guests.

Given Foley's obsessiveness with "missing and exploited children" and getting tough on child predators when it turns out he is one himself, kinda makes me wonder about Santorum. If ya knowwhatimean. :)

2. i almost have to wonder...

...if that could be my congress-critter (a GOP incumbent for life): about 4-5 years ago, a co-worker came into the office highly agitated, and told anyone who'd listen that our Rep. got a 17 year old girl (page) pregnant, forced her to have an abortion (he claims he's pro-choice, but you'd never know from his voting record; or his 90%+ approval rating from the no-choice organizations), and paid something in the upper five figures to the family to keep it quiet. Just a rumor of course, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least.

Just when I thought that we had established that so many of them are gay, this comes along to confuse things. Of course it could just be that this was a Democratic member of Congress. Are most of them heterosexual? It seems that Bill Clinton is. Never heard of him going for a male.

Hmmm, I'll just bet that a lot of Republican Fundamentalist Christians are trying to figure this out too. Could they have been voting for the wrong party all these years? Could their preachers have made a mistake? Heavens no! Surely God wouldn't have misled them so, would he?
