PORTLAND: Dean will join Democrats in door-to-door campaign
Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean will be lending a hand to his party's Maine candidates Monday.

The former Vermont governor and presidential candidate will join volunteers as they go doortodoor in the East End on behalf of local Democratic candidates. Gov. John Baldacci, Rep. Tom Allen, state party chairman Ben Dudley and Anne Rand, a candidate for the House, are expected to participate.

The canvass follows a breakfast on Monday at the Italian Heritage Center. The breakfast, which begins at 8:15 a.m., is open to the public.

3. just what I was thinking....
Imagine going to your front door to find Chariman Dean standing on your front porch! How very cool.....

God bless our Chairman, he's working hard. No matter who's sniping at him, from what sides, he's got a plan and he just keeps plugging away. I admire his tenacity so much.
