The real reason they're not ditching Hastert
Edited on Fri Oct-06-06 11:29 AM by garybeck
When the Foley story first started to break and people first started asking questions about Hastert, Bush issued a statement supporting him. I knew then, Hastert is going nowhere. You would not see a statement from Bush unless it was well thought out (by Rove). Hastert is a key player in the cabal. They will only drop him if absolutely forced to do so (i.e. an indictment).

Having said that, they WOULD leave him out to dry if they were really worried about the coming election. Which leads me to the real reason they are standing behind him and rallying around him:

They own the voting machines and are not worried about the coming election. They'll steal it again.

There's no such thing as political fallout when you have the means to steal elections with the flip of a switch.

1. Look at how long DeLay lasted. The Repukes in the House protected him
They attempted to pass legislation that would allow him to remain in his leadership role even in the face of an indictment.

2. BINGO!
He is as integral part of the PNAC as Rummy, Kindasleazy, Cheney, Wolfowitz and Bolton.

4. This Country Deserves What It Gets
Unfortunately we're ALL going to suffer, but oh well. It's not like we didn't try.

When the game is FIXED, there is not a whole lot that can be done. If they STEAL yet another election, then we're just going to find out what real suffering is like, as the next 2 years will be BAD, BAD, BAD for this country, and may be the beginning of the end.

But we know the truth, so hopefully those of us who can get out or scrape to survive, can use that knowledge to one's own benefit.

5. that is why we need to
continue to fight against the voting machines as issue #1. so many things would take care of themselves if we could just get our votes counted properly. that's what our country is founded on.

6. I hear you, OC Dem.....
sometimes it seems to me that the only thing that will save this country now is if the brain-dead out there who STILL support BushCo wake up - and I'm sure as hell not holding my breath!

7. NOooooooooooooo!
that's the whole point of my thread! it doesn't matter if all the bush supporters wake up. in fact many of them have. the point is, they still own the voting machines and they can steal the election.

the american people do NOT deserve this. we didn't ask for it and we didn't vote for it. we have to take care of the friggin voting machines!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

9. But I think that with many Repugs voting Dem and knowing
that the majority of Americans voted for Dems.....there could be public outrage this country has never seen.....The Neocons will be overplaying their hands if they try to turn the majority of votes...

10. it's all up to the media
if the media says it was a "clean election" everyone will go back to sleep.

if they report the truth people will be in the streets.
