4. DeWine commandeered the whole thing.

Sherrod made some good points, but most of the time he just sat and watched the DeWine Show.

It was embarrassing, frankly.

You'd think SOMEBODY could have coached the guy to be more forceful. Time after time he let DeWine interrupt, put him on the defensive and generally control the conversation.

To say I'm disappointed is a major understatement.

5. I think Sherrod was great

He would have done himself no good by trying to out-shout DeWine, who looked like a petty little man. Sherrod rose above it, got his points across and came across as knowledgeable, firm and statesmanlike.

Leave the boorish behavior to those who can't let their words and records speak for themselves.
