constitution not dead, but in a coma, on life support. a friend
reminded me of this earlier tonight, for which I am grateful. my initial reaction to hearing the vote was an immediate F***, but, on reflection (and several glasses of wine) we came to the conclusion that we will not give up hope, no matter what.

so, the announcement of the death of the constitution, and this country, was perhaps a tiny bit premature. after all, as scarlett said, "tomorrow is another day"

2. Forget it, it's dead. Look at it this way, if some guy got pissed
off at you he could do a couple of things right now that would get you out of the way for years. 1. call the cops & tell them you are a child molester, 2. Call the cops and tell them you are plotting to blow something up. That's it. By the time it got sorted out you would be broke & your reputation would be ruined. Constitution my ass. Everybody lives in fear now.

3. If there is not a revolt
The Constitution is moribound and what frightens me is that maybe 2006 elections won't matter. We are in for some very trying times.
