6. Repeat a lie often enough, and it becomes the "truth"
That, as we all know, is one of the rules of "Bushworld".

Allen is a lying sack of caca. I believe the word is a French word, "macaque", and I believe that the French do pronounce the "e" at the end, which makes it come out sounding identical to what we write as "macaca". I know Allen's mother spoke French and I have no doubt that he learned it from some French-speaking person, and I have no doubt that that was what he was saying.

Or, if we want to be as stoopid as the typical Bush/red-state moonbat, we can accept that Allen just HAPPENED to "make up" a word which just HAPPENED coincidentally to turn out to be a well-known racial slur in Tunisia. Yeah, right...

9. I'm aware he's full of shit, and as someone noted above, this
is how many 'excuses' he's had? He definitely deserves the 'foot in mouth' award!

7. It just HAPPENS to be Tunisian/Jewish slang for dark skinned person
Of course he never knew that.

I mean how could he know that?

He doesn't know any Tunisian Jews.

He doesn't know anybody but ham sandwich eaters.

16. It is.
"Tunisian/Jewish slang." Please. Actually, I've seen evidence that it was slang used in North Africa when Allen's mother was growing up there. I think it's a European term if anything.

11. And he didn't know the symbolism of the
Confederate flag either, when he was proudly displaying it in his home. It was just a sign of his "youthful rebellion."

Allen is simply unable to tell the truth.

12. Okay, let's give him the "benefit of the stupid"
So--if he made the word up, what he's saying is, he singled out a "ethnic" looking person to babble made-up words at. So, what, he's not racist, exactly, just really stupid and kind of nuts, with a side order of "culturally insensitive"? Yeah, uh, you can see how that's "better". :sarcasm:

13. The word is in the Dictionary ... and here is Wolf's transcript:
Edited on Thu Sep-21-06 10:38 PM by larissa
=clip=

BLITZER: One final question, Senator, because I know you got to go.

The word macaca, a lot of people -- I never heard of that word before. A lot of people are wondering, where did you find that word?

ALLEN: I made it up.

BLITZER: Because, in French, especially in Northern Africa, it's a derogatory term for dark-skinned people.

ALLEN: The word in French -- and my mother is, as you saw in the "Washington Post" article, looked it up, and there is no such word in that dictionary as macaca.

=clip=

----------------------------------------------------------------------

And this comment by Wolf as the interview ended made me SICK:

"BLITZER: Senator, thanks very much. I know this has been painful for you, difficult for you...."

----------------------------------------------------------------------

http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0609/21/sitroom.01.html
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It was an incredibly long interview.. and what I'd like to know is if Wolf will offer Jim Webb the SAME air time?

He needs to be bombarded with requests to do so in my opinion: http://www.cnn.com/feedback/forms/form5.html?65
