Clark Supporters - Calling Voters Delivered Oklahoma
Help us now deliver Tennessee and Virginia. The latest "Wes Points" newsletter said thousands of Clark supporters signed up for eBlock and that's what made the difference in OK.

Edwards supporters are NOT calling people - only writing. Let's hammer away this weekend!!!

Peace and Love,

JD

3. The Switzer Ploy only works in OK
And that was a tape recorded message. I doubt he'll have Elvis robocalling TN voters...

1. I'm eblocking for Tennessee
I really, really hate talking to people on the phone -- even family! LOL

But, it's not too hard after you get past the first 10 or so. Of course, when you reach someone interesting in supporting Clark, it's a real pleasure. I'd say for every 10 people that I actually talk to: 3 are for Clark and another 1 possibly 2 are Clark leaners or can be convinced.

TN is going to be another photo-finish. We need to get the word out!

4. I don't enjoy phone calls either BUT
This is important! I keep the script handy, but it helps me do it if I make sure that I say something personal about why I am making these calls, like that this is the first time I have volunteered time to a candidate's campaign, or what I like most about Clark. We don't have to win over everyone, just find or create enough Clark voters to get to the poll so that he comes in first!

9. I HATE cold-calling, but this is different...
Because I believe in the product. I think I won a few people over tonight. You'd be surprised how many fence-sitting Bush-haters there are out there. A gentle nudge into the Clark camp feels GREAT!

12. The people in NH had been hammered for weeks
The people on OK were happy to participate. I talked to a guy for almost 15 min. yesterday and he and his wife will now vote for Clark and they are fascinated that TN is important.
