Rest In Peace Ann............
TEXAS has had many colorful and even legendary governors. But in all of her storied history, she has had only THREE ICONIC GOVERNORS.....They were Sam Houston, John Connally, and ANN RICHARDS.....

Our Great State has lost a TRUE Texan and the LAST REAL GOVERNOR!

May she rest in peace........

Tex

5. "he was born with a silver FOOT in his mouth".............
.....the lady was one of a kind. She was a beauty both inside and out, and so smart. She left more of a positive legacy in 4 years as governor, than GWB will ever after 5 years as governor and 8 years as the village idiot. I was devastated when I heard it, although we knew she had been sick.

If you ever want an example of a REAL and NATIVE TEXAN....just look her up in the history books, which will point out that she made an unsuccessful bid for a second term, but was defeated by some obscure governor that became and obscure president!

"Texas will always love you, Ann"................

3. She fought the good fight and will be missed by the entire
country. When Texas gets them right, they REALLY get them right.

4. She was more of a man than their recent Governor
I mean that respectfully, and with no disrespect toward women. A true character, with lots of wit and brains and one hell of an American, she will be missed.
