Don't Forget: Troops Still Dying in Iraq
As we have our barbeques this weekend and focus on the fight to take back the Congress from Republican rule, let's not forget that our troops are still dying for nothing on a daily basis in Iraq.

News reports today indicate that two U.S. soldiers were killed Sunday by a roadside bomb in Baghdad and two Marines have died in combat operations in Anbar province. One Marine died Sunday of wounds sustained during enemy action and one was killed on Friday.

Oh, and by the way, hundreds of Iraqis a week are still being killed in what the Bush administration continues to insist is not a civil war.

"Our commanders and diplomats on the ground believe that Iraq has not descended into a civil war," said Bush, in his radio address yesterday.

So much for the delusional King George.
