7. My favorite part -complaining Lamont will run a partisan race this f all
duh, Joe - races where Democrats run against Republicans are, by definition, partisan.

24. And that whining was right after decrying partisanship.
The guy actually had the nerve (cluelessness?) to ask those listening to contact him with ideas on what to do in Washington. He's been a Senator for 18 years, and just completed a Primary campaign --- yet he doesn't know why he's running or have a solid agenda for what he plans to do on returning to Washington?

J*'s speech was mostly just promising to play nice with those on the other side of the fence, on his return, and to seek compromise wherever possible. Just pitiful.

9. He is the worst handicapper of all time
Lieberman has no class whatsoever.

This is the most disgraceful election night performance I have ever seen. Instead of congratulating Lamont, allowing him to have his moment, and quietly getting off the stage before filing for independent run tomorrow, he bashed Lamont and his campaign practices, then rips the voters for the priorities they are embracing.

This guy is the most incompetent handicapper I have ever seen. He would have won this primary if he had any guts at all, and never announced the independent run. That weakness and traitor tendency was worth way more than 4%.

A pure disgrace. He even slipped in the hacked website crap at the end of his speech tonight, along with begging for money.

A month ago I didn't care who won, now Lieberman is one of my top oust priorities. This speech clinched it.

10. sheeeeshh...
doesn't anyone understand? Joes move to the right, aka "Indie" will be brought forth as a victory to the rw. They will abandon the repug candidate and all the $$ and support will go to Joe... Repugs will support Joe over their own because it effectively defeats a senate seat by moving him to "I"... Wake up everyone!!!!

I am a veteran and when that bastard lieberman implied I was being treasonous because I don't goose-step to that lying, thieving piece of SHIT bush he lost me completely. I don't live in CT but I would not vote for Lieberman, EVER, and I CERTAINLY would not vote for him because of what MIGHT happen in November. lieberman's loss sends a clear message that we Democratic voters are NOT going to tolerate warmongering, bush ass-kissing in our reps - those days are DONE.

18. i respect that
and agree with much of it. I see this as a wonderful purging victory, a tactical MEGAVICTORY. That's good.

But I'm the kind of person who thinks ahead. I'm just afraid we'll win a few senate seats but be one SHORT of a majority. What would we rather have in 07? A senate majority with Joe on the team or stay in the minority with a Tactical Victor? I'm not sure about the answer.

21. let's assume someone here agrees with you
Isn't your point moot? The CT voters have decided whom they wanted to nominate as their Democratic candidate. No sense in your wishing it hadn't happened. If Democrats want to win the CT seat in November, they should get behind Lamont 100%.
