Jim Dean to be on MTP Sunday to discuss Lamont campaign.
This takes guts. Good luck, Jim.

"If it's Sunday, it's..."

There are just three days to go before the showdown in Connecticut between Senator Joe Lieberman and DFA-List candidate Ned Lamont. We have the momentum, but anything can happen, even in the last few days. Senator Lieberman is spending millions in a last-minute TV air campaign. That's why scores of DFA activists from all over the Northeast will be working hard for Ned Lamont on the ground. If you can make it to Connecticut this weekend, will you join us?

If you can't make it this weekend, you can still watch Democracy for America Chair Jim Dean on "Meet the Press" this Sunday. Jim and NBC Washington Bureau Chief Tim Russert will discuss the Lamont campaign and what it means for the future of the Democratic Party and our nation. Who wouldn't want see that? You can find "Meet the Press" in your area here:

Yesterday, SEIU 1199 endorsed Lamont. That's great news that means even more support for the critical Get Out The Vote effort going on now through Tuesday evening. In a close election like this one, nothing beats feet on the ground. Over and over DFA members have made a difference in this campaign. Let's make sure we do it again. Join DFA and SEIU 1199 in Connecticut this weekend:

Thanks for all you do!

1. Lamont vs. Lieberman
The media has started already saying a Lamont win is bad for the democratic party because they will be to far to the left. So there saying a republican or independent who's against the war is to far to the left.PLEASE!! these pundits talk out of there ASS!!

2. I wish Jim good luck.
He has not been on national media much, so I am crossing my fingers for him. We have met him twice, and he's such a sweet and intelligent man.

I think he is brave to put himself on the firing line.

3. He was very timid and was almost apologizing for opposing
holy Joe. It looked like they are rop-a-doping til Tuesday.

4. I am hearing that no one wanted to be the guest...
who opposed Lieberman because of political fall-out. I have not watched it yet, so can't say.

I understand that it was not the politically correct thing to do, to go on that show and oppose Joe.

More on that later, maybe.

5. I disagree
I thought Dean had a nice measured tone and didn't get personal. Good work. The Liebermana guy acted desperate, especially turning to camera to plead with Conneticut Dems. Sad. He was almost as whiney as Lieberman.

6. I need to watch it.
Everyone seems to think Jim should have attacked. I don't see that. They wanted to enforce the crazy Deans meme, and I hear he did not do that.

I will watch tonight.
