Has anyone else noticed the wear and tear on the people at the top?
Edited on Sun Jul-30-06 04:23 PM by Husb2Sparkly
This is hardly a 'poor them' thread. It is much more a 'fuck them' thread.

Look at them. Rummy's looking old and fat and almost crippled in some way. A shuffle has crept into his gait. He seems much less cock sure of himself when he speaks. No more cute shit.

The Rice woman is also looking increasingly reptillian. No longer does she even pretend to be human. Her dominatrix look isn't gittin'er done any more. She's looking overtly angry and this leads to serious decrease in not only her success at rolling the hoop of world domination, she's overtly as reviled as the boy king himself.

Cheney's voice and rhetoric is little changed from when he first came to power. But take a look at his fat pasty ass. The man is bionic and closer to death than life. But the flip side is, that's how he looked when he took control of the country. He may be the least affected by the last six years. His hatred keeps him going; it must be a fuel source of sorts.

Then there's the first drug addict, Laura. It appears to me she's 'had work'. Her face is increaisngly expressionless. That's either drugs or way too much botox. Whatever the reason, she appears to be little more than a rhetorical reference for the boy king to use to attempt (feebly) to inject some humanity in his in-name-only failing marriage. Hey George ..... it ain't workin'.

Lastly there's the boy king. He can no longer run and even seems to have decreased his tricycle outings. He appears increasingly brain addled. His face has aged and his whole demeanor seems less bouyed by the current level of carnage and suffering; I fear that he may, like any addict, have need to up his dosage of both. But mainly, he seems to have just given up. I'd bet that he would resign tomorrow if he could.

I think they all look like shit. Its their inner selves showing through.

2. My only regret
is that they aren't all younger so that their life sentences would be longer and more awful for them.

Yes, they look like shit. They know that they have to push their plans possibly before they are ready because they have been found out. Must be stressful, hope it makes their heads ache and their stomachs churn.

3. agree with all but the "he would resign" bit...
George resign? Be relegated to being equal with his old man - just another ex-president? Nah - I think he's just waiting to announce his next "war" and regain his war mo-jo... Maybe up the ante with a few nukes...

:grr:

4. These old war mongers see this to be their last hoorah and they
will do anything to get their PNAC business done, even if it kills us all. If they don't keep this war thing going they could end up in the Hague..so be prepared to die or take them out of the WH now...

5. F*CK THEM -- one and all!
I didn't see ANY of them floating on a log in NOLA after Katrina. They all look like sh*t, because they all ARE sh*t! -------- Sh*t in, sh*t out.

6. Or possibly they are considering, or have decided already, to take
actions that they know are unthinkable, even to those as crass and unfeeling as they.

9. Thanks for that nightmare!
Seriously, the only thing that keeps me sane these days is my active imagination that deep down inside they are still a tiny bit human with a tiny bit of love for this world. I know better but am somehow still able to convince myself of that.

15. Truly, you are right.
But remembering that is really, really hard work. And I admire you for taking it on. It is so much easier to relax and hate them. but they are part of the same divine web as all of us are. They're' just being really stupid and out of touch with their own true natures.

I know this sounds airy fairy, but it is true, and now the quantum physicists or string theory guys pretty much agree, so it isn't ridiculous to talk about what kind of impact perception and belief have on what becomes manifest in the world.

We can see what their perceptions and beliefs are manifesting. And ours, as well. But we are all the same, whether we admit it or not.

18. Not Cheney and not Nixon. Tricky didn't start looking old until he was
forced out, he thrived on the negative. Shrub didn't start to go downhill until the consequences started to come back to him. There are people that actively and consciously work against unity.

12. All people age but good people age gracefully. Those that are evil
like those you mentioned, age at an accelerated rate. They all deserve it.

Rummy was old and bent over when * appointed him. Most people never looked beyond his closeups and head shots. You can tell more about a person when you watch them walk away or down a flight of stairs. Rummy is short, bent, has long greasy hair over his collar and his pants bag in the rear. He has looked that way all during this corrupt regime.

13. Like that episode from the TWILIGHT ZONE...
"I think they all look like shit. Its their inner selves showing through."

....When the greedy family had to wear ugly masks in order to get the dying patriarch's fortune...but when they removed them, their faces were contorted into those of the masks, thereby revealing to the world their true nature.

14. I miss Rod Serling ... he was very much one of us .....
... and his voice would be so good to have today.

Read this bio. Very interesting and uplifting. He so very much fits the profile of a progessive. Did you know he wrote the screenplay for "Seven Days in May' - a decidedly anti-nuke story.?

screenplay adaptation of Planet of the Apes. Bush is the most realistic looking talking monkey since Roddy McDowell

IT IS HARD WORK!!!!!!!

17. You know, if there was a scale of
personal "togetherness" meaning some type of mental stability, these guys would be off the charts. I mean, like WAY off.

I think the most unstable personality is Don Rumsfailed. I believe he is just 1" away from having the Guys come in their white coats. Seriously. Dick Cheney is more mentally together than his old mentor.

And Dick Cheney is.....paranoid....

Did you read the thread about Dick Cheney and the man who went for a ride in Cheney's car? OMG.....he has this protective gear, a suit in case of an attack......This man is paranoid delusional.
