Attn: Kerry supporters - Give us a reason to be excited
OK...I'll admit I'm a Clark supporter.

But it's not looking like my horse will win. In fact it's looking like my top three horses (Clark, Dean and Edwards in that order) won't win.

It's looking like Kerry, second to the bottom until Lieberman dropped out, is going to get it.

However, I still prefer him to Bush*, and I think he will make at least a decent president. AND WE MUST WIN THIS ELECTION!!!!!

I could go on about why, but I think we all understand the gravity of this election.

We are not going to convert any of our fence sitters by being lukewarm about our candidate. Saying to our co-workers "Kerry is the lesser of two evils" will not make them vote, it will make them stay home.

Sooo....I'm asking Kerry supporters to give us reasons to get excited about the man. We need this now, even though the chips aren't in yet simply because building momentum takes time, and after all the primaries are over we won't have much time. Novemeber is not far away.

So - please tell all of us here - why should we get fired up? I can think of lots of reasons, but tell me what fired YOU up.

Thanks

2. Vote Kerry to put the environment on the front burner in this election

John Kerry has a lifetime of service and committment to the country. He is the real deal for those who have worked along side of him to save and preserve our forests, keep our air and water pollution-free, and to protect and preserve our fish and our wildlife. :D

Robert F. Kennedy Endorses John Kerry for President-
September 17, 2003

Calling John Kerry’s environmental agenda “bold and visionary,” Robert F. Kennedy Jr. endorsed John Kerry for President:

“I am proud to endorse one of America’s great environmental leaders, John Kerry for President of the United States,” said Robert F Kennedy, Jr. “And I hope that every American who cares about the environment will unite behind John Kerry. He is the candidate with the best environmental record. He is the candidate with the best ability to beat George Bush. And he will be a President who will give us the environmental leadership we so clearly need.”

3. Making a few friends on the planet
Somebody who truly has respect for cultures around the world, believes engagement is the way to resolve conflicts, cares about lifting people all over the world out of poverty and despair, has fought against all the CIA propped up dictator horseshit, has stated Sharon is as much a problem in I/P as Arafat, wants to bring world religions together to resolve those conflicts, and has actually worked to make it happen his whole life.
