no one will even want to run for the presidency in 2008? If the ME situation isn't handled correctly and ended soon, imagine what a mess we'll be in by the fall of 2008.

1. There'll always be enough people in love with power...
...to run for President (or any other elected office). The desire to place oneself above one's peers is an almost universal human trait. If there were only two people left in the country, one of them would run for President.

3. As long as the egos of those like Lieberman and Biden exist

within our Party... there will ALWAYS be someone willing to run or yabber and blather away on the tv. (Maybe it's just something about the name "Joe".....) And, uh, Kerry doesn't seem to be going away any time soon either. So, have no fear, a slate for 2008 is safe and secure!

btw, my opinion: 2008 will be a VERY crowded field.

The question SHOULD be... will your vote even matter at all in 2008? Elections will never turn around without a concerted effort for Election Reform.
