Teleconference about southern Sudan and northern Uganda
I received the following email from the American Jewish World Service. I thought I would pass this along for those who may be interested.

"I have just returned from a fact-finding mission to two of the world's most troubled regions: southern Sudan and northern Uganda.

Southern Sudan is currently in the process of recovering from over 50 years of civil war; the violent conflict in northern Uganda has displaced two million people and forced some 30,000 youth to become child soldiers.

Please join me for a teleconference to learn about the background of the situation in southern Sudan and northern Uganda, and hear my firsthand impressions about daily life and the work of AJWS in affected communities.
