In Exit Poll - Kerry ONLY Choice for Satisfaction
Edited on Wed Feb-04-04 11:06 PM by Kimber Scott
My sister was exit polled in Prescott, Arizona yesterday. She was asked who she voted for, (Clark), her demographic info and if she would be satisfied if Kerry won the nomination. I thought it was an odd question, but now I see how they are using the info I see why they asked it the way they did.

In one way, they are using the poll to point out the Democratic Party is united. This is good. We are. On the other hand, some networks, have insinuated the people polled were given other options, other candidate's names, for who they would be satisfied with and given that 80% percent of them chose Kerry. I think this is a bit misleading.

Yes, my sister said she would be satisfied with Kerry, but she wished they had asked her if she would have been satisfied with anyone else. I wish they would have, too.
